Financial Controller
Preston (hybrid)

Our exclusive client, a family owned, fast growing and dynamic business is looking to recruit a Financial Controller due to continued growth. The successful candidate will be reporting into the Finance Director and directly managing a small team of 3. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Management/Financial Accountant looking to take a step up and help support the businesses ambitious and exciting plans.
The business currently operates in the UK but is looking to expand into Europe and they have 25% growth forecasted year on year. A really exciting time to join!
The role is extremely varied but some of the main duties are below:

- Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Lead on key external relationships with key stakeholders, including external audit, payment processors and key suppliers
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control processes into business operations
- Develop and implement cash strategies for managing third party funds
- Set up corporate structure for foreign growth strategies
- Review financial systems and implement changes required for growth
- Manage internal controls of the business documenting the risks and associated policies
- Qualified accountant
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights
- High attention to detail
