Role Overview:
As the Financial Planning & Reporting Accountant you will play a pivotal role in shaping and informing changes in and around the business. The role will be focused on upcoming risks and opportunities in the market, from both a technical reporting and commercial reporting perspective, ensuring that they stay ahead of the bell curve of change in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creation of Management Information, including the creation and critique of new processes
- Analysing results, providing recommendations and reporting to senior stakeholders
- Group planning, budgeting and forecasting
- External reporting for investors
- Support to the wider finance team with month end / year end processes
- Continuous improvement of area of responsibility
- Various projects, including new prominent areas of finance such as ‘ESG’ reporting, especially sustainability
Qualifications:
- ACA 2-4 years post-qualified, or ACCA from a large practice
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Analytical thinker that can tackle both high-level and low-level challenges
- Experience of working within a high-performing finance teams
