FP&A Accountant

Axon Moore are currently partnering with a successful, well-established and innovative organisation based in Blackburn, who due to recent growth are looking to bring in a FP&A accountant. The role would suit an individual who loves variety, creating solutions, and is seeking a business facing role.

Responsibilities include:

• Production of budget and forecast templates
• Liaise and business partner with operational teams across the business to ensure deliverables and deadlines are understood and deal with any queries regarding budget/forecast completion
• Consolidate circa 20 excel forecast templates, perform data integrity checks, and ensure returns are complete and accurate
• Produce variance analysis vs. previous forecasts to understand changes in revenue and profitability
• Produce management information to aid the senior leadership team in reviews of budgets and forecasts
• Attend monthly reviews to challenge quarterly projections, with the aim of understanding if the business is on track to deliver budget.
• Produce information and analysis for Group relating to revenue and profit
• Propose sales order and cash targets for the coming year, reviewing and agreeing with relevant stakeholders. Monitor progress through the year to ensure these are achieved.
