Role Overview
Axon Moore are exclusively partnering alongside a highly reputable and well known organisation based in Central Manchester who are looking for a Qualified Accountant to join their expanding team. In a newly created role, you will hold a purely commercial position, supporting the Head of Commercial Finance and gain a central view of the whole business, handing financial results, budgets & forecasts and tasked with driving efficiencies and commercial projects.
Ideal candidates will have some from a Management Accounts setting and have begun to pursue a career in commercial finance. You will possess excellent analytical skills and be highly proficient on Microsoft Excel.
You will also be a driven individual, eager to continually develop and gain exposure to a fast moving and changing finance environment.

Responsibilities
• Accurately consolidate KPI and financial information each period end.
• Present detailed budgets and forecasts to the appropriate internal stakeholders.
• Take the lead in reporting improvement to improve efficiencies across the team.
• Develop a deep routed understanding of the business to identify opportunities to drive better decisions at a senior level.
• Act as a business partner for central finance as new initiatives appear.
Person Specification:
• Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, acting as a partner for various stakeholders.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
