Job description

Axon Moore are partnering exclusively with a successful ecommerce business to recruit a position based in their Media City Head Office. My client is looking to recruit a Commercial Analyst at Graduate or Junior level for an important role in their Commercial team.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, this role would be ideal for those with experience and those who are working through the CIMA/ACCA qualification. This is a role within a rapidly growing business where you can add value to the Finance, Commercial and Operational teams in the business.

Salary and Benefits: £23,000 - £27,000, plus CIMA/ACCA study support, hybrid working, flexible working hours, central Media City location, brand new, vibrant offices, Friday beers, 25 days plus banks.
 
Responsibilities
  • Deliver and reporting on KPIs within the business
  • Running information and passing onto Senior Analyst
  • Running trade packs
  • Flash P&Ls looking at overheads and feeding into the management accounts
  • Margin Reporting, price comparison reporting
  • Competitor bench-marking
  • Sales agent performance reporting and KPIs
  • Supporting the Senior Analysts and Managers in their roles and contributing to weekly meetings and decision making
  • Open to adding value to the Commercial team and supporting the business with ad-hoc tasks
Requirements 
  • An active ACCA/CIMA studier ideal but not essential – those from a pure analyst background would be suitable
  • Experienced in a similar Analyst position within a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced with MS Excel, including Vlookups and Pivot Tables
  • Highly numerate/analytical mind-set with excellent organisation & attention to detail
  • Ambitious and self-motivated – looking to progress and take advantage of business growth to develop further
  • Good attention to detail and able to manage your workload effectively.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills both written and verbal, confident in sharing ideas and best practice with non-finance colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving skills
