Group Accountant | Central Manchester | ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified | £50,000 + bonus + benefits
Job Overview:
Axon Moore are once again exclusively partnering alongside a highly successful investment firm that specialises in the Technology sector, looking for an ACA/ ACCA or CIMA Qualified Accountant to join in a pivotal role. Working closely with senior leaders, including the CFO this role will cover all areas of finance, providing you with fantastic exposure across the full function, as well as gaining exposure to clients.
This role will cover all aspects of typical Group Finance, looking at both technical and commercial aspect of finance, partnering with regional leaders and external stakeholders such as advisors (audit) and clients. The position will be supported by a strong finance function based in both Manchester and London; however, most colleagues are based in Manchester.
Salary: £50,000
Location: Central Manchester + Hybrid working

Main Duties:
- Support the management and implementation of Group finance policies.
- Strategic modelling for Group performance, supporting Senior Leadership (CFO, Managing Partners).
- Management of the year end process for Group subsidiaries.
- Oversee control systems and reporting.
- Management of outsourced finance relationships (payroll, audit etc.)
- Monthly management accounts preparation.
- Group Expenses.
- Develop and mentor team members.
- ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA Qualified and a strong academic background.
- Experience working in Financial Services/ Investment or an Accountancy Practice is preferred.
- Able to support the business function and senior management team.
- Excellent communicator, capable of disseminating financial information to both finance, and none finance individuals.
- Experience working in an environment with tight deadlines.
- Advanced Excel skill set.
