Axon Moore are representing a fantastic global business in Blackburn who are looking to bring in an ambitious and dedicated Group Financial Accountant.
You will gain mentorship directly from a high-calibre Head of Financial Reporting, and be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and monthly/quarterly reporting of the Group’s holding companies.
Candidates must be ACA/ACCA qualified with strong technical understanding, and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment. This client has a proven track record of bringing through talent and offering ample opportunities to diversify experience and to progress to a number of finance career paths.
Responsibilities include:

Responsibilities include:
- Full responsibility for the day-to-day accounting and monthly/quarterly reporting of the Group’s holding companies
- Management of the intercompany reconciliations
- Assist with the production of the monthly Group consolidation
- Production of Group balance sheet reconciliation on a monthly basis
- Completion of tax packs for the tax team and support the external advisors
- Business partnering across the wider finance team with joint commitment to the resolution of accounting issues
- Ad-hoc project work when required
