Axon Moore is delighted to be working with a UK market-leading supplier who is looking for a high calibre Group Financial Controller. You will be supporting and help strengthen the continuous growth plans in the UK and the US. The role reports directly into the Group CFO.

Salary - £80,000 - £85,000
Location – North Manchester
 
Responsibilities will include:

• Own consolidation of the monthly management accounts within predefined deadlines
• Manage internal controls of the business documenting the risks and associated policies
• Create the board pack for review by the Group CFO by predefined deadlines
• Ensure the group is fully compliant covering key areas such as; tax, transfer pricing, secretarial duties and accounting policies
• Own all the financial accounting processes including all statutory reporting to both internal and external deadlines
• Lead the annual audit process ensuring all audit outcomes are suitably integrated into future accounting policies and processes
• Work with the Information Systems department to ensure optimum utilisation of available systems for business reporting purpose
• Lead the production of the annual budget for the group
• Manage the cash position of the group

Person Specification:

• ACA qualified Accountant
• Minimum of 5 years post-qualified ground financial reporting and industry experience
• Experience of managing a finance team, preferably in multiple locations
• Multi-currency consolidation experience
• Balance sheet reporting and cash flow reporting experience
• Overseas subsidiary financial management experience
• Led group audits and budget setting process
• Ability to travel overseas desirable
