Group Financial Controller in Preston

Job description

Axon Moore are please to partner with a leading business as they look to recruit a Group Financial Controller to take ownership and improve the financial controls, drive efficiencies in reporting, and stakeholder management across the wider finance team.

Key responsibilities

Ensure financial control is in line with Group Financial Reporting manual and policies
Own and develop the overall UK Finance policies and procedures manual
Run the process for completion of local UK and internal audit
Work with the CFO and the Finance Directors on the transition from the current operating structure to a new operating structure.
Completion of statutory accounts for all UK entities
Provide reporting and liaise with external stakeholders
Line management responsibility

The successful candidate will be ACA Qualified with a proven technical background across IFRS, a strong focus on controls, process and attention to detail. Strong leadership skills are also required for this role.
