Axon Moore are delighted to have been retained by a high-growth, PE-backed business. An international manufacturer based in North Staffordshire they are seeking to appoint a Group Financial Controller.
Following PE investment in recent years, the acquisitive business has enjoyed substantial growth and is gearing up for even further rapid growth. Reporting to a calibre CFO, you will have the freedom to put your 'own stamp' on things, owning the finance function with 2-3 direct reports giving a typical FC part to the role . Another key, and exciting element is supporting the CFO, giving you valuable experience in your own career trajectory. The business will do some form of transaction/exit in the coming years, again, giving you invaluable experience.
To be considered, you should be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong controls experience in a Group capacity within International Manufacturing business/es. You must have good interpersonal skills and be willing to get your hands-dirty whilst working in partnership with the CFO to achieve the growth of the business and its objectives.
