Axon Moore are partnering with a large scale services business in Leeds to appoint a Group Financial Controller. This is both a commercially and technically focused role, so a highly competent candidate with strengths in both financial disciplines will be sought.

The Group Financial Controller will oversee a broad range of duties including:
- Take a lead role on budgeting and forecasting activities
- Carry out a suite of commercial reporting activities, including working closely with sales teams on pricing initiatives and analysis into key business drivers
- Playing a business partnering and support role to senior non-finance stakeholders in the business
- Oversee the annual year end internal and external reporting duties
- Ensuring a robust financial controls framework is adhered to at all times
- Work on ad-hoc projects as designated by Finance Director and wider leadership team
- Acting as a high calibre conduit to the Finance Director, working in close partnership to execute key financial milestones, represent the finance function and provide appropriate challenge to the business
- Qualified finance leader - ideally with a strong technical background, combined with experience within a commercial finance setting
- Driven, ambitious and articulate – able to challenge key stakeholders in the business in the right manner and contribute to business growth and profitability
- Experience within the services sector would be preferred
