The Company
Axon Moore is exclusively partnering with a hyper growth investor led financial services business based in Manchester. The company have grown rapidly since their inception just under 10 years ago and occupy a market leading position in their core offering. Due to this growth, they are looking to appoint a dedicated Group Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to take full ownership of the Group’s FP&A, lead planning with internal stakeholders, manage investor and market expectations through a proactive, collaborative approach. This role reports directly into the CFO and offers a fast track route to Finance Director.
Salary: Up to £90,00 + competitive bonus + attractive benefits package
Location: Manchester City Centre
Hybrid: Yes (2-3 days a week in office)

Responsibilities will include:
- Lead, manage and co-ordinate the provision of the Groups Financial Planning, Treasury Management Services and Development Accounting functions.
- Oversee operations including cash management and banking, loan portfolio management including Loan Covenant monitoring and reporting
- Treasury related risk management, Development Accounting and reporting, and ERP system implementation.
- Build strong collaborative relationships with all key stakeholders.
- Advising and working with the Executive team to deliver best in class engagement with shareholders.
- Leading planning for our results presentations, and investor days - engaging with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on key messaging for investors.
- Managing investor and market expectation through proactive communication and engagement.
- Owning competitor and peer group analysis
- Overseeing and collaborating to produce the Annual Report
- Undertaking assurance reviews, including on the appropriateness of risk controls, quality and accuracy of reporting and implementation of risk appetite and policies
- Qualified Accountant – CIMA/ACCA/ACA
- Strong experience presenting to financial services audience and investors
- Excellent communications skills.
- Highly numerate and experienced with financial models and analysis
- An ability to be able to lead and influence and provide challenge and oversight model design. Ability to promptly resolve model development and methodology related technical issues. Must be able to manage the first line effectively during the consultation phase, any planning and model development process
- Experience of model validation and model build for general interest rate risk
