The role ideally suits an ACA Qualified Accountant, having trained in a Top 6 accountancy practice, and has successfully transitions into industry - ideally in a group environment. The role will focus on supporting the audit, statutory reporting, technical finance, group consolidation, management reporting and significant exposure to projects.

Salary: £65k-£75k
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of monthly and annual financial statements for the group.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Prepare management reports and presentations for senior leadership, lenders, private equity and the board of directors.
- Manage the group consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translations.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of consolidated financial data.
- Implement and maintain consolidation software and tools.
- Coordinate and manage the external audit process.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory reports and tax filings.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations, and assess their impact on group reporting.
- Develop and maintain robust internal control systems for financial reporting.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
- Lead projects to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the reporting process
- Collaborate with finance teams across different business units and regions.
- Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Support strategic initiatives and ad-hoc projects as required.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA) with experience in a Big 4/ Top 6 practice.
- It is preferable candidates will have industry experience in a Group environment.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent leadership and management skillset.
- High level of organisation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
