Insurer Reconciliation and Credit Control Team Leader l Manchester l up to £40,000 DOE l Insurance  l Hybrid l 6- 9 month FTC

 

Job Overview:

Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering with one of UK’s top 100 independent insurance brokers in appointing a skilled & experienced Credit Control & Insurer Reconciliation Team Leader for 6-9 month FTC as part of a finance integration programme. The role will be reporting into The Finance Director, with a team of 3-6 manage.  The ideal candidate will have previous management experience with a passion for delivering process improvements & a knowledge of broking systems including Acturis.

 

Salary: up to £40,000 DOE

Location: Manchester

 

Main Duties:
  • Efficiently identify aged items & produce monthly credit control & insurance ledger reports
  • Provide training to team when required
  • Trouble-shooting any Acturis / Insurance reconciliation queries for wider finance team.
  • Produce MI Reports
  • Assist / use initiative in leading new projects & ensuring continuous improvement of systems
  • Review insurer/ supplier master data held in Acturis system and network folders and co-ordinate complete review and update of all records
  • Co-ordinate the workflows during the run up /run off of Acturis ledgers during hive-up programme
  • Improve payment processes in line with online banking procedure
  • Understanding of Client Money procedure and processes in line with FCA guidelines.
  • Review funded reports & ensure entries are updated

Person Specification:
  • Confident, professional & team player attitude with brilliant relationship building skills
  • Previous use of Acturis system & excellent IT skills
  • High attention to detail and able to take ownership of their role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult situations
  • Previous staff management experience
