I am delighted to be exclusively recruiting for a high growth business based in Warrington who are looking for an Interim Accountant to join their team for a 12 month fixed term contract.

Duties:
- Monthly preparation and review of p&l accounts at a company and branch level
- Controlling month end timetable and providing suggestions for improvements
- Personally responsible for a number of balance sheet reconciliations
- Reviewing company balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the team
- Review of quarterly VAT return
- Lead preparation and submission of corporation tax return with external advisers
- Review of daily and weekly sales reports
- Review of management accounts
- Critical monthly review of margin generated by ERP system and challenging issues with system provider/IT
- Working with other central functions e.g. internal audit, commercial, AP
- Ad hoc projects to improve existing processes, as and when required
Person Specification:
- 5 years PQE (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Immediately available/available on short notice
