Axon Moore are pleased to partner with a growing business based in Blackburn as they look to recruit a Finance Manager for an initial 6 month contract. This role will be supporting the Finance Director through year end process and assisting in the month end process
Key responsibilities
The successful candidate will be qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or QBE) with a strong background across month end processes, dealing with auditors and the ability to work well in a team in fast paced growing business

Key responsibilities
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of postings
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of allocated bank accounts in accordance with Group accounting policies, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Monthly journal postings and ownership of monthly ledger reconciliations process
- Preparation of documentation of financial processes and controls framework.
- Liaison with external contacts as required, e.g. suppliers, auditors
- Month end review meetings with Finance Director
- Overhead analysis and variance to budget analysis
