Interim Financial Accountant

Axon Moore are pleased to partner with a fast growing business as they look for Financial Accountant for 12 months with potential to extend, this role will report in to the financial controller and take ownership of the month end accounts including group consolidation

Key requirements

• Production for the month end accounts including group consolidation
• Production and posting of key journals including accruals, prepayments, accrued and deferred income
• Ensure that balance sheet reconciliations are prepared on a monthly basis, and that all balances are correct, and differences investigated
• Assist with providing explanations to variances to budget, forecast and prior year
• Production of statutory accounts
• Prepare statutory submissions for review for example relating to VAT, PAYE and P11Ds
• Daily treasury and weekly payment run
• Weekly flash reporting
• Supporting with external auditors and tax teams on year end audit, CT and R&D

 


The successful candidate will be qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a strong technical accountant background, strong excel skill and good attention to detail are key for this role.

This role does offer hybrid working but does require someone in the office at least 2 days a week.
