Interim Financial Controller

Axon Moore are pleased to partner with a global business based in Warrington as they look to recruit an interim financial controller for an initial 9 month period. This role will be joining a great team and be an integral team member who will be right in the thick of things


Key responsibilities

• Responsible for the month end close process working closely with FD and wider finance team
• Preparation of the monthly financial reports with additional MI commentary and analysis
• Assist with the preparation of the annual report and accounts, monthly consolidated financial statements and board packs
• Manage overseas audit for multiple branches
• Review and submit the quarterly VAT returns
• Take the lead of multiple ad-hoc projects including system implementations and upgrades, transfer pricing and treasury related projects
• Help design, build and implement a robust financial framework to support and automate our reporting and MI, as the organisation continues to grow and evolve
• Assist with managing and mentoring members of the team to actively train and improve the team

The successful candidate will be qualified (ACA,ACCA,CIMA) with a strong background across similar role, Good excel skills and working knowledge of UK and US GAAP. A good team player with a proactive approach to work
