M&A Manager | Central MCR (hybrid) | £50,000 - £70,000 + bonus | In-house, PE backed
Axon Moore have exclusively partnered with a PE backed professional services / advisory business in central Manchester who have a new role in their team for an in-house M&A Manager.
This is best suited to a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with existing experience in Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Restructuring or Private Equity.
You will have a high level of visibility within the group, having frequent interaction with the Board and Senior Executive Teams, in addition to interacting with external shareholders and advisers.

Responsibilities include:
- Manage M&A projects (with support from and reporting into Group Head of Strategy / Directors) including being the day-to-day point of contact for Prospects
- Actively managing deal processes taking responsibility for managing all phases of the transaction cycle and deal execution
- Perform due diligence on deals
- Set, source, monitor and control M&A project Pipeline
- Managing deals, generally £0.5m-15m and buy-side focused
- Project managing transactions to ensure the deal processes are fulfilled
- Undertaking detailed research on companies, associated sectors and identifying potential transactions and potential sellers
- Research and analysis of key value drivers at a market and business level
- Researching and profiling potential acquisition targets and prospective sellers and presenting the strategic rationale for potential transactions.
- Prior experience of private equity and M&A transactions
- Excellent numeracy skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to absorb and interpret large amounts of data
- Strong interpersonal skills required to challenge, negotiate and operate at a senior level
