Job description
Axon Moore have been engaged by a PE backed, hugely successful tech business based in Leeds. We are helping them recruit a Management Accountant for the "hyper-growth" division within the business.
Reporting into the divisional Finance Manager and supported by an Assistant Management Accountant, as a team you will be responsible for the production of the daily/weekly management reports for the division.

Management Accountant Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts and supporting data
- Analyse revenue into different segments
- Maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations including Accrued and Deferred Income
- Assist with segmented reporting and analysis.
- Assist the Invoicing controller maintaining invoicing on a weekly basis
- Manage the monthly calculation and review of commission for the sales teams
- Maintain internal controls and systems
- Provide detailed analysis on cost reports
- Production of monthly forecasts
- Calculate sales commissions
- Maintain Audit trail documents
- Ensure management reports are prepared in accordance with company accounting policies
- Ensure all queries relating to MI are resolved promptly in line with accounting standards
In order to be considered you must have the following skills/background/experience:
- Fully Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, compliance and auditing
- Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Excel
- Previous experience in a role with accounting, compliance and auditing responsibilities
- Experience building management reports
- Experience working on multiple projects at once and to tight deadlines
