Axon Moore are supporting a successful and well-known business in Preston, to recruit an ambitious part qualified Management Accountant.
This is an excellent varied role for an determined individual to gain exceptional exposure and shadow and learn from a high calibre and supportive Head of Finance.

Responsibilities include:
- Production of monthly management accounts, and highlight variances to budget/forecast; to include accruals, prepayments, analysis of accounts and key P&L reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Support the production of an accurate management accounts pack
- Investigate and report on significant variances against budget/forecast
- Accurate identification of P&L risks/opportunities that may affect forecasts
- Liaise with internal and external auditors & provide accurate & timely information to aid a smooth auditing process.
- Identify inefficient processes and where possible propose changes
- Participate in ad hoc process improvement projects
- Assist in preparation of VAT and other regulatory returns.
- Maintain and report on cash flow forecast
- Prepare and agree intercompany reconciliations.
- Weekly monitoring and reporting of unmatched ledger entries
