Management Accountant | Trafford, Manchester | £45,000 - £55,000 | PE backed retail business
Axon Moore are exclusively working with a fast paced, award winning business that have created a new role for a Management Accountant to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
This business are a real market leader in their industry and have made a number of acquisitions in the last 18 months on the back of private equity funding.
Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

This business are a real market leader in their industry and have made a number of acquisitions in the last 18 months on the back of private equity funding.
Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Production of the monthly management accounts including commentary and analysis on the P&L
- Balance sheet reconciliations, maintain the integrity of system data.
- Pricing/Margin analysis looking at products and segments
- Business Partnering with key individuals
- Involvement in analysis of web sales and costs.
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Analysis of company performance, identifying and tracking KPI’s.
- Working alongside the directors/financial controller on the annual budgets/ reforecasts
- Ensure that financial controls are robust and compliant, implementing process improvement
- Retail/ecommerce experience would be desirable
- CIMA/ACCA qualified or finalist
- Minimum 3 years experience in a management accounts role
