Management Accountant

Axon Moore are currently partnering with a successful, well-established and innovative organisation based in Blackburn, who due to recent growth are looking to bring in an ambitious Management Accountant.

This is an excellent role for a motivated ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified individual to gain exposure to a knowledgeable and high-calibre Finance Manager, and progress their career substantially. The business offers brilliant benefits, great development opportunities and flexible working options.

Responsibilities include:

• Summarise the monthly financial position by collecting information and recording required journals; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statements, and other reports
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Preparation of yearly cash flow forecasting
• Monitoring of accruals and prepayments
• Maintaining fixed asset register and calculating depreciation
• Preparation of statutory financial statements, supporting the annual audit process and be the main point of contact for the auditors
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and monthly reconciliations
• Ensuring the accuracy of the accounting entries and accounts reconciliations
• Preparation of asset, liability, and fixed asset account entries by compiling and analysing account information

The role would suit an individual who has some knowledge of international taxes and HMRC compliance, inside and outside of the UK.
