Management Accountant | Tameside (Hybrid) | £40,000 - £50,000 | Manufacturing/Retail
Axon Moore are working with a well established, culture-driven, family ran manufacturing/retail business in Tameside who are looking to add a Management Accountant to their fast paced finance team.
This is a newly created role due to growth of the business, and we're looking for a tenacious, driven and talented qualified accountant to join their fast paced team.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts with commentary and analysis of any variances
- Completion of an established reporting pack
- Management of monthly ledger close, co-ordinating with other departments to ensure they are ready on time
- Business partnering with department heads to resolve anomalies and explain results
- Cost and margin analysis
- Overheads analysis
- Quarterly forecasting
- Balance sheet reconciliations and journals
- Supervision of WIP analysis
- Overseeing accruals and prepayments, accrued and deferred income transacting
- Implementation of stock count spot checks and other internal audit processes
- Ad-hoc support including reporting analysis and other special projects
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA newly or nearly qualified
- Ability to communicate confidently with a variety of people across the business
- Strong organisational skills
- A high level of attention to detail.
