About the Company:
Axon Moore are delighted to be working with a well-established and rapidly growing business based in Manchester City Centre to appoint a Management Accountant, which is a key role in the business. The business operates in the IT industry in the UK and overseas, with its headquarters in central Manchester.
We are looking for an experienced, part-qualified Management Accountant to lead the assist with the production of the management accounts with scope to develop and progress in the role. This role is key to the finance team and will report to the Finance Manager.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary is £43,000 - £47,000 per annum DOE, hybrid working 2 days in the office, pension, 25 days holiday plus banks and ability to buy/sell up to 5.

What we are looking for you to do/key responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation of Group management accounts, for both external shareholders and internal stakeholders
- Assisting in the consolidation of the group consolidated management accounts
- Support and assist in US tax, both sales tax and corporation
- Preparation of VAT returns where required
- Responsible for analysis of revenue as well as general performance analysis
- Ah hoc accounting for sales
- Assist with year end audit
- Driven to support and implement continuous improvement to processes
- Assist the Finance Manager and the wider business with ad-hoc tasks as and when they arise
- Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA
- Strong excel skills (eg. VLOOKUPs, pivot tables etc)
- Experience in a general accounts department and good understanding of double-entry book-keeping
- Some experience with management accounts
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to plan and organise workload
- Able to use own initiative to solve problems
- Have a desire to be part of a fast paced and high growth business
