Management Accountant | North Manchester (Hybrid) | £45,000 - £50,000 | Retail PLC
Axon Moore are working with a well known retail brand in north Manchester who have created a new role in their team for a Management Accountant.
This role has been created to support an ACA Finance Manager, taking ownership of the end-to-end month end process and playing a key part in large scale projects across the wider business. We're looking for an ambitious, driven accountant who can grow with the business as development and progression opportunities will be given.

Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts with commentary and analysis of any variances
- Completion of an established reporting pack
- Business partnering with department heads to resolve anomalies and explain results
- Cost and margin analysis
- Overheads analysis
- Quarterly forecasting
- Balance sheet reconciliations and journals
- Supervision of WIP analysis
- Overseeing accruals and prepayments, accrued and deferred income transacting
- Implementation of stock count spot checks and other internal audit processes
- Ad-hoc support including reporting analysis and other special projects
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA newly or nearly qualified
- Ability to communicate confidently with a variety of people across the business
- Strong organisational skills
- A high level of attention to detail.
