Management Accountant | Oldham | £50,000 - £55,000 | PE backed business
Axon Moore are working with a well established, long standing business in Oldham that are seeking a Management Accountant to join their team. This business are a market leader with a strong pipeline for 2024 with plans for further growth both organically and through acquisition.
Following PE investment, the business are undergoing rapid growth both organically and through acquisition. Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

Following PE investment, the business are undergoing rapid growth both organically and through acquisition. Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and delivering the month end accounts, P&L, Balance sheet fully reconciled, Cash Flow and developing and delivering functional leadership team requirements and business KPI's
- Supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Preparation of the accruals and prepayments
- Posting journals
- Reconciliation of Credit card statement every month to ensure all costs are accurately recorded
- Population of monthly MI packs
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolution
- Daily, weekly, period banking
- Completion of annual Audit deliverables pack along with ongoing timely information requirements during audit process
- Providing support in a variety of financial projects
- Assist the Finance Director and FP&A with audit queries during year-end processes
- Continuously develop current processes and systems both as a team and individually
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
- Team player with a positive outlook and a willingness to be ‘hands on’
- Flexibility to prioritise to meet deadlines.
