Management Accountant | Up to £50k | Macclesfield | Hybrid
I am delighted to be working alongside a market leading and highly acquisitive retail business based in South Manchester looking to add a Management Accountant to their team.

Reporting in to the Financial Controller, the role holder will primarily be responsible for assisting with the production of the Management Accounts, managing the day to day financial transactions within the company and supporting on ongoing system development projects.
This is an exciting role in a fast-paced company; enabling excellent career progression for the right individual. This is a highly commercial role, supporting with projects developing areas of the business, which will involve a great deal of interaction with the senior team.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of management accounts
- Reconciliations; Gross profit, Balance sheet, Intercompany
- Management of transactional finance team
- Accruals and prepayments
- Preparation of board pack inputs and interpretation of the results
- Management of the unit stocking facilities (ensuring facilities are maximised consistently, cash management with respect to movements, monthly recs)
- Supporting year end audit
- Payroll support (management of ADP Payroll)
- Ad hoc problem solving for transactional matters
- Supporting projects (new finance system, new payments system, acquisition integration etc. as they arise)
- Qualified or training towards (ICAEW, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, ICAS)
- Excellent Excel skills and IT skills generally able to analyse and interpret large data sets
- Demonstrate a genuine passion and desire to be part of the Superbike Factory story
- Technically strong and excellent academics (graduate)
- Challenge the status quo and look to improve the reporting environment
- Able to manage and prioritise work load in fast moving environment
- Self starter, commercially focused and solution orientated
- Experience of managing transactional finance team
