Management Accountant | Trafford Park | ACCA or CIMA Qualified | High Growth Business
Job Overview:
Axon Moore are proud to be partnered with a well-established, phenomenally high growth business based in Trafford Park, who are looking to strengthen their finance team with a Management Accountant. This role would be well suited to a newly qualified or 1-2 years PQE, ACCA/CIMA accountant with proven management accounts experience. If you have a willingness to learn and are pro-active, self-sufficient and ambitious then this is an ideal opportunity providing extensive career progression across the Group.
Salary: £45,000- £50,000
Benefits: Bonus, private healthcare
Location: Trafford Park
Main Duties:
• Preparation of management accounts, inclusive of journals, group reporting pack and board reports.
• Establish and maintain strong financial controls.
• Preparation/review of statutory accounts
• Analysis and commentary of performance.
• Management of a Finance Assistant
• Preparation/review of VAT returns
• Preparation of P&L and cash flow budgets
• Attend P&L, sales and capital expenditure reviews with the operational teams
• Preparation/review of year-end audit packs and collating supporting documentation
Person Specification:
• CIMA or ACCA Qualified, or close to being Qualified.
• Excellent excel skills are essential
• Experience working within a Management Accounts role
• Strong communication skills.
