Management Accountant | Chapel en le Frith | Up to £40k | Hybrid | Study Support

Reporting directly into a high calibre Financial Controller, this role will be varied and challenging providing great exposure and progression.

Reporting directly into a high calibre Financial Controller, this role will be varied and challenging providing great exposure and progression.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Financial Controller with the production of the management accounts including:
- Journals and accruals & prepayments
- Complete and check Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Cashflow reporting and forecasting
- Supporting with the year end audit
- Supporting forecasting and budgeting processes
- Analysing and investigating month end variances
- Reviewing costs and producing reports for the Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer
- Supplier Statement reconciliations
- Providing cover/processing support for AP team
- Processing the payment Run
- Project work as required such as testing system developments
- Part qualified ACCA/CIMA or AAT qualified with accounts experience
- Proficient with Excel and using an accounting system
- Can do attitude & willingness to both take on new opportunities and provide cover for transaction
- processing when needed
