At Axon Moore, we are excited to partner with a leading global manufacturer based in the Wirral, who are in search of an ambitious Management Accountant – on-site role (Afternoon finish on Fridays)

Reporting directly to a supportive Financial Controller and overseeing and providing guidance to the Finance Assistant.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Oversee inter-company invoicing and reconciling group balances.
- Responsible for maintaining the standard cost of Raw Materials, WIP and Finished Goods
- Understanding and reporting all productions variances in a timely manner. Implementing changes / improvements, alongside the production team, to resolve costing or process issues.
- Monitoring costs against budgets and investigating variances.
- Preparation of weekly cash flow forecasting.
- Production of quarterly VAT Returns
- Qualifications: CIMA or ACCA fully qualified or finalist.
- Desirable: degree in Finance, Accountancy, Maths, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Understanding of Manufacturing environments, proficient in Cost & Project Accounting, and accustomed to deadline-driven delivery.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, autonomy in work and team collaboration, proficient in MS Excel for spreadsheet development, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Preferences: Experience in fast-paced, evolving business environments and involvement in new systems implementations.
