Management Accountant | Manchester | Up to £45k + benefits | Study Support| Hybrid
I am delighted to be working alongside a highly progressive PE backed E-commerce business based in central Manchester who are seeking a Management Accountant to join their business. This role reports into the Financial Controller and with mentorship and no future plans to recruit above this level provides a clear pathway to Finance Manager within the next 12/18 months. The ideal candidate for this role will be Part Qualified (ACA / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent) or QBE with experience working in a fast-paced environment. Retail experience would be advantageous but not necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Month End Accounts including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries
- Work with commercial colleagues to produce the budgets and forecasts for the contracts, monitoring performance against agreed targets and KPI’s
- Ensure compliance with all financial controls, processes and regulatory framework.
- Proactively identify improvements (through root cause analysis), making recommendations and successfully implementing new ways of working gaining the full support of stakeholders and colleagues alike
Requirements: |
- Part Qualified (ACA / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent) or QBE
- Accounting experience, ideally in a commercial finance role
- Cashflow management
- Intermediate / advanced Excel, Power Point and Word
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- A continuous improvement mentality with the ability to challenge existing processes
