Axon Moore are working with a highly acquisitive business in Salford Quays who have created a new role in their team for a qualified Management Accountant to strengthen their team. This is a high growth business that are a real market leader in their industry.

Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts with commentary and analysis of any variances
- Completion of an established reporting pack
- Management of monthly ledger close, co-ordinating with other departments to ensure they are ready on time
- Business partnering with department heads to resolve anomalies and explain results
- Cost and margin analysis
- Overheads analysis
- Quarterly forecasting
- Balance sheet reconciliations and journals
- Supervision of WIP analysis
- Overseeing accruals and prepayments, accrued and deferred income transacting
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified or finalist
- Ability to communicate confidently with a variety of people across the business
- Suited to someone wanting longevity in a supportive team
