Management Accountant

Axon Moore are partnering with a successful PE backed SME who are looking to double in size over the next couple of years; therefore looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant.

This is an excellent varied opportunity to step into an established business, with the opportunity to drive change and make the role their own. This individual will gain exceptional exposure and shadow and learn from a high calibre and supportive Financial Controller.

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for financial accounting across 4 trading companies and 3 holding companies
• Prepare management accounts for each entity with commentary on variances against budget/ forecast
• Responsible for timely closing of ledgers at month end, posting month end journals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Reconcile intercompany balances
• Prepare and submit VAT & Intrastat returns for UK and international  
• Prepare cashflow forecasts for each entity
• Prepare sales flash report and analysis
• Provide support to group auditors on year end audit
• Oversee transactional finance on a day to day basis
• Support with annual group insurance renewals
• Assisting and supporting Group Finance team with project work

The role will suit an individual with a positive, can-do attitude with an enthusiastic and energetic approach to work, who is hungry to develop and progress within a fast paced environment. Our client is open to part qualified ACCA/CIMA individuals or a strong qualified by experience individual.
