Management Accountant | South Manchester (3 days in office) | £50,000 - £60,000 | Manufacturing
Axon Moore have exclusively partnered with a market leading manufacturing business who have created a vacancy in their team for a full-time permanent Management Accountant.
Duties include financial accounting, forecasting, inventory and WIP cost analysis, planning and reporting needs of the business Units. Reporting into the Financial Controller you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Duties include financial accounting, forecasting, inventory and WIP cost analysis, planning and reporting needs of the business Units. Reporting into the Financial Controller you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Produce the monthly management accounts including P&L statements, maintaining the Balance Sheet and other financial reports used for reporting monthly data such as KPI Targets.
- Reconciliation and review of balance sheet accounts.
- Lead and coordinate budgets for the business unit.
- Provide accurate and timely management reports.
- Prepare variances analysis against budgets, forecasts, and prior years.
- Help supervise AP team, assisting with training and development.
- Communicates with internal and external auditors. Coordinates the preparation and completion of outside and inside audits for the site.
- Take responsibility for all aspects of inventory. This includes valuation, driving improvements to the systems and striving for uniformity in reports and results as well as ad-hoc information requests and the yearend stock take.
- Manage the PO and invoice approvals system.
- Assists with ERP system upgrades and improvements; drives and supports various process improvement and profitability initiatives (Currently Sage 200).
- CIMA/ACCA qualified, however QBE/Part Quals will be considered providing you have relevant experience.
- Knowledge of product costings, inventory, stock control is essential.
- A high level of communication skills is required to interact with all levels of management.
