Management Accountant (12 month MAT cover)
Trafford Park
£35,000 - £42,000 (Depending on experience)
Axon Moore have an urgent requirement for an experienced Management Accountant to work for a leading Independent retailer based in Trafford Park.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract for maternity cover that is the perfect role for someone who wants the opportunity to work in a fast growing omni-channel company which is expecting to go from strength to strength in 2022.
You will report directly into the head of management accounts and be a key point of contact across the business. This requires a person who is natural at building relationships and can fit into current accounting processes.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the production of monthly management accounts.
· Ensure all month end cost journals are calculated and processed accurately and on a timely basis for key account lines in the P&L.
· Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed on a monthly basis, investigate and resolve any variances on a timely basis.
· Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
· Develop strong working relationships with all areas of the business.
· Assist with intercompany reconciliations.
· Assist in year-end audit
· Adhere to reporting deadlines.
