Management Accountant (Part Qual) | £32,000 - £36,000 + Study | Chorley + Hybrid | Broad and varied role | High-calibre team within a PE-backed business
Axon Moore delighted to be partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed business in Chorley to recruit a Part Qualified Management Accountant to help support the wider Management Accounts team. This varied and progressive role requires a driven and ambitious individual who is able to manage and prioritise workload effectively whilst being hungry to progress.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:

This varied and progressive role requires a driven and ambitious individual who is able to manage and prioritise workload effectively whilst being hungry to progress.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Intercompany accounting procedures including management of the intercompany matrix and group recharges
- Working with M&A team to embed new acquisitions
- Processing of accruals and prepayments
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
- P&L reconciliation and analysis
- Ownership of AP – processing of purchase invoices, payment runs and staff expenses
- Review of sales income reconciliation and posting monthly journals
- Payroll support
- Online Banking – setting up payments
- Year-end adjustments and audit support
- Ad hoc reports and analysis
- Actively pursuing ACCA/CIMA
- At least 1 years’ experience as an AMA or similar role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational and time-keeping skills
- High attention to detail and able to take ownership of their role
- Good understanding of double entries and basic accounting practices
- Adaptable and dynamic in nature
- Good IT and MS Excel skills
- Exposure to NetSuite and WebExpenses (desired)
