Job description

An outstanding, permanent opportunity has arisen to join one of the North West’s most successful, highly acquisitive, award winning businesses as a New Property Pricing Manager, based in Chester. 


Reporting into their friendly and calibre Senior Pricing Manger, your responsibilities will be as follows: 

Coaching team of 7 Pricing Specialists and holding regular 1-2-1’s

Leading the team to deliver thoroughly researched, data led pricing for all new properties in accordance with SLA’s

Leading the implementation of new pricing strategies generated by the Pricing Research team and promoting this to the Negotiation and field teams

Working closely with the Pricing Research & Control team to develop new pricing strategies and maintain pricing controls

Communicating regularly with the Property Recruitment team to optimise processes

Data analysis to track team’s performance against all KPIs

Developing a thorough understanding of Revenue Management processes and decisions, including pricing and short break strategies then using this information to provide expert pricing advice

Contributing to ongoing development of pricing tables and income projection functionality, ensuring all tools are user friendly and deliver value to the Property Recruitment process

Work closely with the Property Recruitment teams to improve the Income Proposal document to create a compelling and relevant sales document for all potential owners
 

Skills and Qualifications: 

Strong Leadership and organisation skills

Good numeracy and data interpretation skills

Pricing background

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Proven negotiator in difficult situations

Commercial awareness (ideally within the holiday lettings or travel and tourism industry)

Understanding of browser based IT systems

Experience of using MS Office suite (Excel etc)

Able to work in a target driven sales environment

Data analysis and data interrogation experience

Ability to effectively communicate with other teams to influence change
