THE COMPANY:
This business is a dynamic, high growth, PE backed busines. They are a successful market leader with Head Offices based in Normanton. They are now looking to recruit a Part Qualified Assistant Accountant with experience and passion, to join their growing finance team.

THE JOB:
- Review all balance sheet accounts and prepare monthly reconciliations
- Assist with producing the Month End Accounts, including preparing the Accruals & Prepayments schedules
- Manage intercompany recharges and balances
- Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns
- Maintain the daily cashflows
- Manage all Bank account reconciliations
- Maintain Fixed Asset registers
- Ensure adequate controls and processes are in place and are adhered to
- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures with the aim of implementing
- improvements / automation as and when required
- Support with ad hoc projects
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS /SKILLS:
- Part qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or fully qualified AAT / AAT Studier
- Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong technical, analytic, and reporting skills
- Excellent IT skills (advanced knowledge of Excel essential)
- Accurate and attention to detail
- Inquisitive and a finisher
