Part-time Purchase Ledger Clerk | Bolton | £20,000 – £23,000 (pro-rata) | 6-month FTC | Flexible hours

Axon Moore are pleased to be partnering with a fantastic business in Bolton as they look to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk on an 6-month fixed-term-contract to join their supportive finance team. This role will be well suited to experienced candidates who are looking to attain a more favourable work/life balance but are still keen to take up an active and engaging role within finance. This office-based role requires 22-25 hours per week and offers flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Accurately processing supplier invoices in line with the agreed payment terms.
  • Filing and matching invoices with purchase orders.
  • Coding and inputting invoices onto system and filing for payment.
  • Resolving internal and external queries.
  • Preparation of weekly payment runs.
  • Processing staff expenses.
  • Management of petty cash.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements, company credit cards and intercompany balances.
  • Other ad-hoc duties.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • At least two years’ experience within similar roles.
  • Able to efficiently manage a high-volume workload.
  • Sage and Microsoft Excel proficient.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and organised.
  • Able to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively.
