Payroll Administrator | £23,000 - £27,000 | Wigan | Part-time caniddates considered

Axon Moore are pleased to be exclusively recruiting on behalf of a highly-valued client in Wigan as they look to grow their team with the addition of an experienced Payroll bureau specialist. Experienced candidates seekeing part-time hours will also be considered, as such, this role will be well suited to payroll administrators who are seeking to either progress their careers or achieve a more favourable work/life balance.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Payroll bureau
  • Responsible for all aspects from start to finish
  • Reconciling payroll reports
  • High volume/multiple payrolls
  • Auto enrolment rules for assessing, joining, opting out employees.
  • RTI Submissions
  • Processing 932 information on a monthly basis
  • Processing statutory payments
  • Handling payroll queries
  • Year-end returns
  • Other ad-hoc duties
Required Skills and Experience:
  • At least 2 years’ payroll experience
  • Able to efficiently manage and organise their workload
  • Microsoft Excel and Sage proficient
  • A good understanding of PAYE, NI, RTI SMP, SSP and other HMRC statutory regulations
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Proactive and self-motivated in nature
  • Able to work efficiently towards deadlines
