About the Company:

Axon Moore are delighted to be working with a market leading business to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join their Global Payroll team on a 12 month fixed term contract in Manchester city centre, where you will work as part of a team of four responsible for running multiple payrolls across the different entities that form the group across five countries.

About the Role:

We are looking for experienced and confident Payroll Administrator to assist with the end to end payroll processing, while working with an outsourced Payroll provider. This role will require attention to detail and good excel skills in order to ensure complete accuracy when compiling payroll information.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary £32-35k DOE, city centre location with excellent train, tram and bus links, 8% pension, private dental and medical cover, life assurance, 25 days holiday plus banks, hybrid working 2-3 days a week in the office (full time in the office can be accommodated). There is also a range of other flexible benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will contribute to the accurate and timely processing of the monthly payroll across 5 entities within the group, ensuring procedures are followed to ensure compliance with internal and statutory procedures and controls.
  • Day to day you will deal with payroll and benefits queries and ensure their timely resolution. You will handle monthly changes to the payroll (e.g. joiners, leavers, pay changes etc) ensuring accuracy.
  • Post and reconcile the payroll journal for all countries
  • Co-ordinate and support with the annual salary and bonus review, and the budget planning process working closely with the Human Resources and Finance department
  • Support and work alongside Human Resources with the benefits renewal process
  • Assist with requests for pay and benefits data reports as required and orders from statutory bodies
  • Produce P11d’s and PSA reports, submit returns
Personal Competencies:
  • 2+ years’ experience in an end to end Payroll position
  • Experience in both payroll and benefits administration
  • Experience with PAYE, National Insurance, SSP and SMP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel essential, experience with SAP is beneficial
  • Professional and mature mindset with an excellent work ethic
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
  • Able to work effectively as part of a high-performing team
