Payroll Administrator | West Manchester | Hybrid working | up to £30,000 DOE

Job Overview:
Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering with a high performing manufacturing business in West Manchester. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for the administration of the day-to-day payroll operations and accuracy of the payroll system that delivers payroll on monthly basis. You will work within a business that operates on a global scale and offers vast career opportunity.

Salary: up to £30,000 DOE
Benefits: Hybrid working, 25 days holiday plus bank
Location: West Manchester

Main Duties:
• Processes monthly payroll.
• Support for ongoing payroll operational activities
• Provide payroll process expertise as a project team member on departmental and cross-functional initiatives
• Solve a variety of complex problems, conduct research, gather, and compile information for reports and analyse results.
• Regularly review current processes and procedures and make recommendations for improvements to SOP or systems to enhance performance.
• Participate in developing and testing new and/or existing payroll processes and procedures when system and business requirements change
• Participate in various payroll audits as required by internal and external audit teams
• Participate in payroll projects and opportunities as assigned
• Work closely with Payroll Specialists to provide excellent customer service and be back up for payroll processing as needed4ere
• Assist Payroll and Finance leaders with annual audits.
• Performs other related duties or projects as assigned by the Finance Leader
• Liaising with Accounts Payable for employees’ expenses
• Systems; WorkDay, ADP, Day Force or Ceridian systems

Person Specification:
• Experience in Payroll position
• Bachelors Degree preferred but not essential
• Full driving license is required
