Payroll Manager
Blackburn – hybrid/flexible working
Salary – Flexible dependent on experience PLUS excellent benefits
Axon Moore is recruiting for a Payroll Manager for a highly acquisitional Services business in the Blackburn area who have experienced sustained growth. With recent PE backing and numerous acquisitions, they now have great aspirational plans to grow their turnover significantly in the next few years.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and ambitious Payroll Manager to join a business you can really make an impact, managing a team of 4 that is integral to the business. You will be expected to have implement new processes and procedure and consolidate current processes to make things slicker.
The successful Payroll Manager can expect to:

- Report into the Head of HR
- Take ownership for developing the payroll function
- Lead a strong and dynamic team of payrollers
- Have full autonomy for the development of processes, controls and systems
- Problem solving, liaising with customers
- Guide payroll team to support the practices
- Making continuous improvements
- Leading on pension consolidation
- P11ds
- HMRC submissions
- Having a vision, to grow the team
