Axon Moore are pleased to be partnering a high-growth business in Wigan as they look to bolster their finance team with the addition of a Purchase Ledger Clerk looking to progress their careers working within a fantastic business which boasts a great working culture and staff benefits.

No experience is required for this role due to the incredible training and mentorship on offer. As such, this role is well suited to career changers or recent graduates keen to kick-start their career in finance.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Matching, checking, and coding invoices
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Processing approved expense claims
  • Liaising with suppliers to resolve queries
  • Setting up new supplier accounts
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Creating batch supplier payments
  • Data entry
  • Provide support to the wider business when required
  • Ad-hoc project work as required
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Good IT and MS Excel skills
  • Able to build and maintain long-lasting working relationships
  • Willingness to learn and succeed
  • Good attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively (written and verbal)
  • Able to work collaboratively and independently
