Purchase Ledger Clerk | £23,000 - £25,000 + Study | Chorley + Hybrid | rapidly-growing, PE backed organisation | Friendly and welcoming office culture

Axon Moore are proud to be working alongside a fast-growing, PE-backed business in Chorley as they recruit for an ambitious and progressive Purchase Ledger Clerk to add to their dynamic team.

This role offers complete control of the Accounts Payable processes and will serve as the point of contact for all invoice and payments related queries. As such, this role is well suited a driven and reliable individual who has the ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively whilst wanting to pursue ACCA/CIMA.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Processing of purchase invoices and staff expenses
  • Management and preparation of documentation for payment runs
  • Setting up payments and preparation of expenses payments
  • Setting up payments and preparation of weekly payment runs
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Posting invoices onto system
  • Reconciliation of aged AP
  • Maintenance of the accounts email inbox
  • Year-end audit support
  • Ad-hoc reports and analysis
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Great attention to detail
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Good Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Able to quickly adapt to change
  • Work efficiently towards meeting deadlines.
