Purchase Ledger Clerk | £25,000 - £26,000 | Wigan + Hybrid | Amazing benefits package | High-growth business

Axon Moore are pleased to be partnering a high-growth business in Wigan as they look to bolster their AP function with the addition of an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Assistant capable hitting the ground running in a fast-paced, end-to-end role taking full ownership of your supplier accounts.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Processing all transactions for suppliers and expense claimants
  • Reviewing POs
  • Preparing weekly aged creditors summary
  • Investigating any aged debt and taking corrective action
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Setting up new suppliers
  • Supporting month-end ledger close
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Ad hoc projects
  • Sales ledger cover when required
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Good IT and MS Excel skills
  • Able to build and maintain long-lasting working relationships
  • Previous experience within Purchase Ledger
  • Good attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Able to work collaboratively and independently
  • 25 days holiday + bank hols (rising to 30!)
  • Hybrid working 2/3 days per week
  • 40 hours per week – 8:30am - 5:30pm
