Purchase Ledger Clerk | 9-month FTC | Harrogate – Hybrid role | £22-26,000 DOE | Will consider full-time or part-time.

I am delighted to bring to bring to market a 9-month contract to assist one of my clients during a busy period.   Working within the purchase ledger team, you will take on day to day responsibilities that also includes bank reconciliations.

 As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, your responsibilities will include:
  • Processing purchase ledger invoices, including gaining authorisation where required
  • Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing suppliers
  • Liaising with wider business as required to investigate and resolve queries
  • Processing payments
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Support with project work as required

•            Ideally with experience of a busy purchase ledger environment or as an Assistant Accountant
•            Ability to effectively prioritise work flow
•            Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
•            Previous experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk or Assistant Accountant
•            Motivated, proactive and positive approach to work
•            Strong team player
•            Problem solving ability
•            Ability to work in a high-volume environment
•            High degree of attention to detail
