An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an internationally renowned company based in Wakefield on a temporary basis as a Purchase Ledger Clerk.

This is a magnificent opportunity for a graduate to gain experience in the financial industry, or for someone who is available and looking for immediate work with purchase ledger experience.

The Job:

  • Processing invoices

  • Preparing payment runs

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Reconciliation of key supplier statements

  • Issue purchase orders

  • Managing supplier and customer queries

  • Ad-hoc finance work

  • Management of accounts payable ledger

The Person:

  • Previous experience in a financial role (1 year minimum)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong MS Excel skills

  • Close attention to detail

  • Proven experience of working well under pressure

The Benefits:

  • £21,000 - £23,000 circa (dependent on experience)
