Purchase Ledger Clerk | £22,000k | FTC 6 months | Leeds | Graduate opportunity
An opportunity has arisen to join the finance division in a Purchase Ledger capacity. The role will see you take immediate responsibility for a number of tasks. This is the perfect role for a graduate looking to gain experience within a finance environment.
As Purchase Ledger Clerk you will learn to:
• Process all supplier invoices
• Take responsibility for the internal purchase orders
• Ensure the payment authorisation process is managed and adhered to
• Be the main point of contact for all supplier queries
• Reconciliation of supplier statements
• Set up new supplier accounts
We are looking for a graduate who has working experience, ideally in an office environment. In addition, you should be able to demonstrate:
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationship with both clients and colleagues
• An understanding of bookkeeping
• Ideally Purchase Ledger experience
• Strong academics
• A good understanding of Microsoft Office in particular Excel
• Excellent organisational skills
